ILOILO City – Punching his drinking buddy cost a resident of Barangay Rizal Pala- pala II, City Proper his liberty.
Jonathan Galvarole Jr., 45, was detained at the La Paz police station after his arrest at around 12:30 a.m. yesterday, a police report showed.
He was accused of punching his friend, 46-year-old Lyndren Bade of Barangay Progreso, Lapuz district.
Bade told the police they were having a drinking spree at around 9:40 p.m. on Feb. 1 when Galvarole attacked him and fled. He did not know why.
Bade was wounded on the left eyebrow. Iloilo City Emergency Response personnel treated him and told him to seek further medical attention.
A few hours later, Galvarole returned to Lapuz. That was when Bade and police officers arrested him./PN
