ILOILO City – Nine plastic pack of suspected shabu were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tabucan, Mandurriao district.
The operation also led to the arrest of the 62-year-old Melchor Tayco of Barangay Boulevard, Molo.
Operatives from the drug enforcement and intelligence units of the Mandurriao police station staged the buy-bust at around 6:45 a.m. yesterday.
Tayco has been detained. He faces charges for violation of sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, a police report stated./PN
