BACOLOD City – Two motorcycles collided along the national highway in Barangay Daug, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.
One of the drivers, Jomar Bajardo Cadungog, died.
The motorcycles were running on opposite directions when the crash happened at around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, said Senior Inspector Leomel Gonzaga, Hinoba-an police chief.
Cadungog was a resident of GK Village in Barangay Villareal, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
He was taken to the Eleuterio Decena District Hospital in Barangay Bacuyangan, Hinoba-an where he was pronounced dead.
The other driver – Ruel Blanco Lagarde, 39, of Barangay Culipapa, Hinoba-an – was injured.
Lagarde was taken to the same hospital where he remained confined as of this writing./PN
