BACOLOD City – Five armed men robbed a house in Purok Dinalan, Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Chief Inspector Joeffer Cabural, officer-in-charge of the Bago City police station, said the armed men carted away from Jerry Laguyo’s house items worth some P50,000.
The items include jewelry, laptop, cellphones, and P15,000 cash, among others, police said.
The bonnet-donning men wielded short firearms and M16 and M14 rifles.
Case investigator Senior Police Officer 1 Arturo Margallo Jr. said the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
Laguyo and his family were already asleep when the armed men knocked on their door. The men said they wanted to take the items.
Police were still locating and identifying the men who fled after the incident./PN
