BACOLOD City – He was stabbed to death for an unknown reason, a police report showed.

Laborer Julie Resente of Barangay East, Candoni, Negros Occidental sustained stab wounds on the body after the 52-year-old Ronilo Treyes allegedly attacked him on Monday, the report further stated.

Resente was rushed to the Candoni Rural Health Unit where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”

Treyes, on the other hand, fled after the incident. Police were locating him.
