BACOLOD City – He and his passenger were injured after figuring in a road accident in Barangay Caradio-an, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 34-year-old driver Marjon Alvarez and 44-year-old passenger Maria Liza Ufemio sustained body injuries after falling off a Honda 125 motorcycle around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Alvarez and Ufemio were residents of Barangay Batuan, San Enrique, Negros Occidental.
They sideswiped a Toyota Innova car driven by the 40-year-old Jore Soriano of Bacolod City when they overtook a vehicle, police said.
Alvarez then lost control of the motorcycle and bumped into a Honda 155 motorcycle driven by the 34-year-old Banie Loyzaga of Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
Alvarez and Ufemio were rushed to a hospital in Himamaylan City but later transferred to a hospital in Bacolod City for further treatment. (With Mae Singuay/PN)
