ILOILO City – Two suspected drug dealers were caught in a buy-bust operation Barangay Poblacion South, Oton, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Officers arrested residents Gesinni Labausas Valle, 30, and Joey Labausas Valle, 34, at around 10:10 p.m. on March 23.
The suspects yielded four plastic packs of suspected shabu and P1,250 cash (including the marked money), the report stated.
A motorcycle and a cellphone were also seized from them.
It was not immediately clear how the two suspects were related.
They face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Officers from the Oton municipal police station, the Police Regional Office 6’s Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and the Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Intelligence Branch staged the operation.
The Oton police took the suspects and the seized items in custody./PN
