Jessy Mendiola is feeling thankful after surviving a road accident, which the actress recounted on Instagram Stories.
She revealed that she thought she was going to “die” after her driver dozed off, causing their van to hit a barrier Wednesday morning.
“The scariest part was the side that got hit was where I was sitting,” she recalled.
“I’m very thankful nothing happened to me and no other vehicles went against us. I didn’t wish for this experience but it made me appreciate my life more.”
She didn’t go into details about where the incident happened. Instead, she thanked God for giving her “another day” and offered advice for tired drivers.
“My advice to drivers or to anyone who’s driving long hours: When you’re feeling sleepy or tired, please stop and take a nap. You are responsible for the lives of the people riding with you,” she said. (ABS-CBN News)
