ILOILO City – Police have been searching for a robbery suspect for four years.
On Wednesday they arrested him in Barangay East Baluarte, Molo district.
The 29-year-old Redan Castañeda of Barangay West Habog-habog, Molo was detained at the district police station.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest at around 8:30 a.m., a police report showed.
Judge Loida Diestro-Maputol of the Regional Trial Court Branch 28 issued the warrant on Oct. 23, 2014.
The court set the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P24,000, stated the police report./PN
