BACOLOD City – Four men were arrested for playing the illegal card game pusoy in Barangay Singcang-Airport.
They were the 30-year-old Joryn Sapico, 30-year-old Arjay Maquiling, 28-year-old Jimm Eric Bruce Escanlar, and 35-year-old Lourd Cordova, a Police Station 8 report showed.
The men were caught around 6 p.m. on Saturday in the act of playing the card game, which the police said was in violation of Presidential Decree (PD) 1602.
PD 1602 prescribes stiffer penalties on illegal gambling.
Recovered from the men were playing cards and P392 gambling money.
They were detained at the Police Station 8 lockup facility./PN
