2 ‘drug dealers’ arrested

ILOILO City – Two suspected drug dealers were arrested in police operations in City Proper and Molo district on Saturday.

Ronald Dinson, 34, of Barangay San Juan, Molo and Roberto Lengoste, 40, of Barangay Monica Blumentritt, City Proper were detained.

Dinson was caught in their village at 6:45 p.m., a police report showed.

The laborer sold to an undercover officer a plastic pack of suspected shabu for P1,200. Nine more sachets of the same substance were seized from him, stated the report.

Dinson was hauled to the Molo police station custodial facility.

Prior to that, at around 4:20 p.m. on Zamora Street, City Proper, Police Station 1 officers arrested Lengoste.

Police said Lengoste sold to a poseur buyer a sachet of suspected shabu for P600. Three more plastic packs of the same substance were recovered from him, the police added.

Lengoste was detained at the lockup cell of Police Station 1.
