ILOILO City – A household helper was accused of stabbing his employer.
Identified only as a certain “Bronson” from Lambunao, Iloilo, the house help fled after the attack, a police report showed.
His employer, Edna Agabe of Barangay Patong-Patong, Janiuay, Iloilo, sustained stab wounds on the neck and stomach. She was confined in the district hospital in the town.
The incident happened at 2 a.m. in the victim’s house on Monday, police investigation showed.
At the time the 61-year-old Agabe was sleeping in her room and Bronson just arrived from a wake.
Agabe told the police she woke up to see her house help trying to steal her money. A heated argument ensued between them, she said.
Bronson fled but not before stabbing her twice, Agabe claimed./PN
