BACOLOD City – A man was shot to death in Barangay San Jose, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
Resident Eduardo Averina sustained gunshot wounds on the back and face, a police report showed.
According to investigation, an unidentified gun man peppered Averina with bullets around 9:30 p.m. on March Sunday.
Police recovered four empty shells of a .45-caliber gun from the crime scene.
Averina was brought to the Vicente Gustilo District Hospital in Escalante City where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Toboso police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
