BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man for illegal possession of firearm in Barangay 13, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspect as 50-year-old Robert Labor of Barangay 19, Victorias City.
According to investigators, a vigil was held in the house of Eberto Lapus where Labor was playing a card game on June 30.
An argument between Labor and his co-player prompted the former to discharge his firearm, the police added.
Police responded in the area and caught Labor possessing a .38-caliber firearm without pertinent documents.
Labor was detained in the Victorias City police station custodial facility./PN
