ILOILO City – Inside the hospital was where a man landed after he got stabbed five times in Barangay Gines Viejo, Passi City, Iloilo.
The 43-year-old Allan Padena of Barangay Pequeño, Passi City was in critical condition confined at West Visayas State University Medical Center in La Paz district, police said.
Padena was driving his motorcycle around 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday when he and pickup driver Jonel Pagdato had an altercation.
The argument prompted Pagdato to stab Padena with a knife he got inside his car.
The cause of the altercation was not immediately clear.
Pagdato, also a resident of Passi City, surrendered to the police after the stabbing. He was detained in the lockup cell of the Passi City police station./PN
