Matteo welcomes Duterte at Zamboanga hospital

ARMY reservist P2Lt. Matteo Guidicelli welcomed President Rodrigo Duterte upon his arrival at Camp Navarro General Hospital in Zamboanga City on Wednesday, just days after the actor finished his Scout Ranger training at Camp Tecson in San Miguel, Bulacan.

This wasn’t the first time Guidicelli met the President as they also had a meeting last April.

The President went to Camp Navarro to visit the wounded soldiers in Indanan, Sulu explosion last week.

During the President’s visit, Duterte conferred the Order of Lapu-Lapu on 12 soldiers in recognition of their courage to fight for the country.

Guidicelli, 29, officially joined the Army Reserve Command in mid-April to show his love for the country. He also previously joined the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary in March alongside celebrities Erwan Heussaff and Nico Bolzico. (ABS-CBN News)
