ILOILO City – A man was arrested over bouncing checks in Barangay San Sebastian, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
The 48-year-old Johnny Tolentino was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 3, a police report showed.
Tolentino faces charges for four counts of violation of Batas Pambansa 22, the law penalizing the making or drawing and issuance of a check without sufficient funds or credit, police said.
Police released Tolentino several hours after he paid a P12,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
