BACOLOD City – Charged with rape, a man was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
The 55-year-old resident Nelson Antipona was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant on Sept. 3, a police report showed.
Officers of the municipal police station served the warrant issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental dated Aug. 13, 2019.
Antipona was detained in the Kabakalan City police station’s custodial facility.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
