BACOLOD City – In Barangay Mandalagan, a man was arrested for illegal possession of firearm.
The 27-year-old resident Monitor Alcantara was nabbed after a concerned citizen reported him to authorities on Oct. 2, a police report showed.
A .45-caliber firearm with live bullets was recovered from Alcantara, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 3, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
