ILOILO City – A farmer was shot to death in Barangay Agpalali, Tapaz, Capiz.
The 54-year-old resident Leandro Gapasinao sustained gunshot wounds on the body. He died on the spot, police said.
Gapasinao’s friend 52-year-old Isidro Budalan was tagged suspect.
According to police investigation, Gapasinao fetched the suspect in his house on Wednesday.
With no apparent reason, Budalan allegedly shot the victim several times using a .45-caliber pistol.
It was not immediately established what was the motive in the incident.
Officers of the Tapaz police station conducted a manhunt operation against Budalan, who fled after the incident./PN
