BACOLOD City – A man was shot to death in Barangay Daan Banua, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 59-year-old resident Ramonito Gasataya died of gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Gasataya was driving a motorcycle when two unidentified suspects peppered him with bullets around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Gasataya was rushed to the Kabankalan City District Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the incident./PN
