AFTER successfully directing the first-ever Filipino Netflix Original film “Dead Kids,” the acclaimed director, on Instagram, shared he was picked to direct the third season of HBO’s (Home Box Office) “Halfworlds.”
“The engkantos are at war in the Philippines. Who do you fight for?” he wrote, teasing his fans about the storyline of the series.
PublicityAsia, in a press release, stated that Bianca Umali and Sam Concepcion are two of the lead stars of the film.
The third season of “Halfworlds” will be an eight-part mini-series.
Red is also the filmmaker behind acclaimed films “Birdshot” and “Eerie.”
He has another upcoming zombie thriller starring Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. Titled “Block Z,” the said film is slated to come out next year. (Push)
