ILOILO City – He was crossing the road in Barangay Banuyao, Miaga-ao, Iloilo when a tricycle hit him, police said.
Resident Antonio Monteclaro sustained injuries on the feet, a police report showed. He was recuperating at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Police investigators said a tricycle driven by Nohnit Tristesa of Sta. Rosa, Guimbal, Iloilo hit the victim while he was crossing the road around 6 p.m. on Dec. 7.
The suspect was arrested and now detained in the custodial facility of the Miag-ao police station, facing charges./PN
