BACOLOD City – A man was nabbed in a house raid in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Armed with a search warrant, officers of the municipal police station raided the house of 55-year-old Danilo Severino around 7 a.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Recovered from the house were a .45-caliber pistol with 27 live bullets, four magazines and a live bullet of a 5.56mm-caliber firearm.
Officers of the municipal police station served the warrant issued by Judge Edgar Tupas of the Regional Trial Court Branch 46 here.
Severino was detained in the custodial facility of the Murcia police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
