BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a rape suspect in Barangay Sagua Banwa, Valladolid, Negros Occidental.
The 41-year-old Renel Saranate of Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental was tagged suspect, a police report showed.
Saranate – who was listed as the No. 6 most wanted person in the police station of Talisay City – was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the report added.
Officers of the municipal police station served the warrant issued by Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court Branch 51 here dated June 7, 2019.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Talisay City police station.
No bail bond was recommended for Saranate’s temporary liberty./PN
