BACOLOD City – No bail bond was recommended for the temporary liberty of a rape suspect in Barangay Canlandog, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The 39-year-old resident Domino Ortega had been hiding from the police for about 15 years.
He was arrested on the strength of an arrest warrant around 4 p.m. on Jan. 11, police said.
Officers of the Murcia police station served the warrant issued by Judge Demosthenes Magallanes of the Regional Trial Court Branch 51 in Bacolod City dated Jan. 17, 2005.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the municipal police station./PN
