ILOILO City – A 45-year-old farmer was shot to death by two unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen in Barangay Albayog, Sara, Iloilo.
Renante Toting of Barangay Improgo, Sara died of multiple gunshot wounds on the body, police said.
Toting was on his way home when the suspects peppered him with bullets around 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
He was rushed to the Sara District Hospital but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Sara police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the incident./PN
