ILOILO City – The motorcycle they were riding crashed against a pickup in Barangay Pulot-an, Pototan, Iloilo.
Killed of head injuries was motorcycle driver Lifedin Pari-an, 25, of Barangay Tumay, Mina, Iloilo. His two back riders Renhniel Resano, 18, and Jenwill Camiro, 30, received treatment at the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan for minor injuries.
According to police investigation, the victims were navigating the road when a pickup driven by Richard Causing, 39, of Barangay Espinosa, Ajuy, Iloilo hit them on Tuesday night. But it was not immediately clear what circumstance led to the accident.
Causing was detained in the lockup cell of the Pototan police station, facing charges.PN
