BACOLOD City – A man was found dead in a sugarcane field in Barangay Burgos, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as 47-year-old resident Jovy Besa.
Besa’s lifeless body was found by John Paul Carabaña when he passed by at the said place around 11 a.m. on March 1, a police report showed.
According to the victim’s father Roberto, his son sleeps anywhere whenever drunk and he has no enemy in the place.
The cause of his death was not immediately established.
Besa’s body was brought to the Cadiz City Emergency Clinic for a “post-mortem” examination./PN
