ILOILO City – He allegedly sold illegal drugs.
The 38-year-old Joseph Jasper Duran was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tabucan, Mandurriao district, police said.
Six sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P59,600 were recovered from him, the police added.
Duran – resident of Arevalo district – was caught after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P3,600 around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Detained in the lockup cell of the the Arevalo police station, Duran faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
