ILOILO City – A drinking spree turned out to be the last for a man after he was allegedly hacked to death by his son in Barangay Alibunan, Calinog, Iloilo.
Resident Alberto Casipe, 60, had a heated argument with his son Jolit, 45, police said.
The altercation led Jolit hacking Alberto using a bladed weapon around 10 p.m. on June 28, the police added. It was, however, not immediately established what triggered the argument.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Calinog municipal police station, facing charges./PN
