BACOLOD City – Police raided a house in Barangay Recreo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, leading to the recovery of a loose firearm.
An improvised 12-gauge shotgun was seized from 57-year-old resident Fernando Fundador, police said.
The police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant around 2 p.m. on Aug. 30.
Fundador was detained in the custodial facility of the Pontevedra municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against him./PN
