BACOLOD City – The hospital was where a man landed after he got stabbed in Barangay Tabun-ac, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
Resident Arnel Buscado, 26, was recuperating at the Vicente Gustilo District Hospital in Escalante City, Negros Occidental. He sustained two stab wounds on the chest, a police report showed.
The suspect was identified as resident Dennis Ecayan.
According to police investigators, Ecayan stabbed Buscado using a bladed weapon around 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 30.
It was not immediately established what was the motive in the incident.
Officers of the Toboso municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect, who fled after the stabbing./PN
