ILOILO City – Six individuals were caught engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay Gines Nuevo, San Enrique, Iloilo.
They were Remedios Gasis, 55; Fernando Gasis, 64; Tiffany Grace Estrellanes, 31; Nicolasa Gasis, 57; Jovito Someros, 59; and Judith Pama, 66, a police report showed.
Operatives of San Enrique police chanced upon the suspects playing tong-its around 6 p.m. on Sept. 6, the report added.
Recovered from their possession were two decks of playing cards and P175 bet money.
The suspects were taken to the municipal police station, facing charges./PN
