BACOLOD City – Police apprehended two persons in a drug sting operation in Barangay Mantaangan, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.
They were 35-year-old Richard Cordova and 28-year-old Gerlie Conejos, police said.
Cordova and Conejos – both residents of the village – were caught after they allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer around 9:50 p.m. on Sept. 12.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
