BACOLOD City – A man facing rape charges was nabbed in Barangay Bacong, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Ben Amar, 52, of Barangay Minoyan, Murcia Negros Occidental was caught around 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 5, a police report showed.
The Bago City police staged Amar’s apprehension on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Maria Charity Javelona of the Regional Trial Court Branch 51 in Bacolod city dated June 2, 2020.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Bago City police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
