BACOLOD City – Charged with rape, a laborer was arrested in Barangay Camansi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 38-year-old resident William Elera was nabbed around 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 5, a police report showed.
Elera’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City dated Sept. 9, 2020.
The suspect was brought to the Kabankalan City police station.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
