BACOLOD City – Accused of domestic violence, a 52-year-old man was arrested in Barangay La Granja, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
Dionito Chavez, a resident of the village, was caught 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 5, police said.
Chavez’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant the court issued in relation to the charge for violation of Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004 he faces.
The suspect was taken to the La Carlota City police station. A P120,000 bail bond was recommended his temporary liberty./PN
