BACOLOD City – Two persons were apprehended in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 2.
Operatives of Police Station 2 staged the entrapment operation that led to the arrest of 22-year-old Romel Parafina and 56-year-old Jurry Distajo around 9 p.m. on Nov. 12.
Parafina and Distajo allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500.
When frisked, they yielded 16 more sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P20,400.
The suspects were detained and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
