ILOILO City – Charged with murder, a resident of Barangay Catan-agan, San Enrique had been hiding from the police these past 10 years.
But yesterday, the luck of 35-year-old Edgardo Villaruel ran out.
The police apprehended Villaruel in Barangay Poblacion, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo around 12:30 a.m.
After serving the arrest warrant, cops took Villaruel to the municipal police station.
The suspect was charged with murder in 2010 and was listed as the most wanted fugitive in the town.
No bail bond was recommended for Villaruel’s temporary liberty./PN
