BACOLOD City – Police nabbed a laborer in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Roger Villanueva, 49, was a resident of Purok Ilang-Ilang in the said village, a police report showed.
An undercover police officer initially bought from Villanueva a sachet of suspected shabu for P2,000.
Three more sachets of the prohibited substance were seized during Villanueva’s arrest around 1:20 p.m. on Dec. 2.
He was taken to the Bago City police station where he was detained. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect./PN
