ILOILO – The Kalantiao Masonic Lodge No. 187 of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines turned over a newly-renovated Child Development Center in Brgy. Mali-ao, Pavia, Iloilo on Saturday, Dec. 5.

The event was headed by worshipful master Daniel Fajardo II and Jr Warden Nick Botin together with Brgy. Capt. Emelina Serra, councilors Rovi Halanes, Cornelia Jardiolin, Julcy Jagolino, and CD Worker Sheryl Miado.

In his message, WM Fajardo said he believes that the young ones deserve a better venue for learning as they are molded for the future.
“Nagapati kami nga kinahanglan matagaan gid naton sang maayo nga pundasyon ang edukasyon sang aton kabataan gani importante man nga mahatagan naton sila sang better venue for learning,” WM Fajardo said.
“[With this] when they grow up, they will remember how Brgy. Mali-ao Child Development Center molded them to become better children,” he added.
Moreover, 35 students received bags, school supplies and faceshields in the gift-giving activity as the members of the lodge continue to bring hope and happiness to the community amid time of adversity./PN
