KALIBO, Aklan – Rare plants were stolen from the garden of the surprised Andaya family.
This was a first for them, according to Alyssa Marie Andaya of Barangay Tabayon, Banga, Aklan.
The stolen plants were estimated to cost between P30,000 and P50,000 in total.
The plants were Philodendron Campii Lynette, Philodendron Birkins, Philodendron red congo, Philodendron pink princess, Silver Fern, Card Board, Anthurium Radicans, and Queen of the Night.
The Andaya family urged the public to be wary of people selling rare plants as these could be the stolen plants.
Aside from being rare, the stolen plants have sentimental value to the Andayas. These were planted by their grandmother./PN
