KALIBO, Aklan – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Aklan reminded private companies to release their employees’ 13th month pay not later than Dec. 24.
According to DOLE-Aklan provincial director Carmela Abelar, qualified to receive the 13th month pay are employees to have worked for their companies for at least a month, citing Presidential Decree 851.
Employees with concerns over their 13th month pay may seek the help of DOLE-Aklan, Abelar added./PN
