ILOILO City – A man facing direct assault charges was apprehended in Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Michael Mandicote, 40, was caught around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 14, police said.
Mandicote’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant, the police added.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Himamaylan City police station.
The court recommended an P36,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
