BACOLOD City – Charged with child abuse, a man was nabbed in Barangay San Pablo, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as 30-year-old Allen Jaleco of Barangay Zone 2, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Jaleco was caught around 10 a.m. on Dec. 26 on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Gwendolyn Jimenea of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60.
Jaleco was facing a charge for violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Manapla municipal police station.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
