BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu was confiscated from two men at a police checkpoint in Barangay General Luna, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
The suspects were Ryljan Yamba, 21, and Kevin Mark Reigo de Dios, 20, both residents of Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Yamba and de Dios were on board a motorcycle when flagged down by the police around 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 18.
Recovered from their possession were three sachets of the prohibited substance.
Their motorcycle was impounded, too.
Detained in the lockup cell of the Toboso municipal police station, the two face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
