ILOILO City – A pedicab driver got stabbed in Barangay Poblacion West, Oton, Iloilo.
The 41-year-old resident Jose Dude Prudente was recuperating at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
He was allegedly stabbed on the left shoulder by his fellow driver 64-year-old Reynaldo Lomallo, also a resident of the village.
According to the police, the stabbing happened around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Prudente and Lomallo had a heated argument during a drinking binge, prompting to latter to stab the former.
Responding police officers were able to arrest the suspect and took him to the municipal police station for proper disposition./PN
