ILOILO City – What started as a drinking spree turned deadly between two laborers in Barangay Lumbia, Estancia, Iloilo.
The 25-year-old resident Arman Carno bore multiple stab wounds. He died on the spot, police said.
His drinking buddy was identified as Nonel Labang, 36, also a resident of the village.
Both had an altercation while having drinks at around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, prompting Labang to attack Carno, police investigation showed.
Responding cops of Estancia were able to arrest Labang, who was detained and charged with homicide./PN
