ILOILO City – For possessing an unlicensed gun, a 44-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Libot, Calinog, Iloilo.
Charlie Lavilla, a resident the village, was caught around 3 p.m. on Jan. 12, a police report showed.
Concerned citizens alerted policemen that the suspect was armed with a.22-caliber revolver loaded with two live bullets.
According to responding cops of Calinog, Lavilla failed to present pertinent papers showing legal ownership of the weapon.
They confiscated the gun and took the suspect in custody for filing of appropriate charges./PN
